- Went 2-0 in his collegiate debut with back-to-back bonus wins at 125 pounds in Michigan’s dual wins at Rutgers and Maryland
- Pinned 12th-ranked Nicolas Aguilar just 61 seconds into his dual on Friday at Rutgers
- Earned his second bonus win in as many collegiate bouts with a 9-1 major decision against King Sandoval to open the dual against the Terrapins on Sunday
- Earns the first Wrestler of the Week Award of his career
