The Astros have made the following roster moves:
*Effective today, OF Yordan Alvarez has been activated from the paternity list and C Martin Maldonado has been activated from the bereavement list.
*RHP Francis Martes has cleared outright waivers and has been subsequently outright assigned to Triple A Sugar Land (effective Sunday).
*RHP’s Ralph Garza, Jr. and Peter Solomon and C Garrett Stubbs have been optioned to Triple A Sugar Land, effective postgame Sunday.
