#1 Buckeyes blast Purdue, 34-10, not pretty, but a win is a win; Ryan Day Postgame Press Conference

COLUMBUS, Ohio – No. 1 Ohio State (9-0, 6-0) dominated the time of possession on sustained scoring drives to win 34-10 over Purdue (2-8, 0-7) at Ross-Ade Stadium in West Lafayette, Indiana, Saturday.

Six Ohio State drives used up five minutes or more with five ending in scores (3TDs, 2FGs).

The Buckeyes held the ball for nearly 41 minutes in the victory.

Quarterback Julian Sayin completed 27-of-33 passes for 303 yards and touchdown. His top target was Jeremiah Smith who finished with 10 catches for 137 yards and a score.

Bo Jackson led the run game with 14 carries for 75 yards. CJ Donaldson Jr. scored twice on five carries.

Ohio State returns to Columbus next Saturday to face UCLA. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. and will be televised nationally by NBC Sports.
