NEW YORK (Oct. 12, 2025) – Utah Mammoth defenseman Ian Cole has been fined $2,500 for a dangerous trip against Nashville Predators forward Steven Stamkos during NHL Game No. 32 in Nashville on Saturday, Oct. 11, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 12:26 of the second period. Cole was assessed a minor penalty for tripping.
The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
