Freshman Will Miss The 2025-26 Season

DAYTON – University of Dayton men’s basketball coach Anthony Grant has announced that Jaron McKie will medically redshirt the 2025-26 after undergoing a successful surgery on his left shoulder.

McKie has begun his rehab process with the UD medical staff with eyes on returning to action in 2026.

Dayton returns to UD Arena to play Bowling Green in its second exhibition on Monday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. The regular season opens in the Epicenter of College Basketball on Monday, Nov. 3 against Canisius at 7 p.m.
