CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Louisville football team upset No. 2 Miami on Friday, 24-21, in the Cards first win against an AP Top 2 team since 2016. UofL improved to 5-1 on the season and 2-1 in Atlantic Coast Conference play this season.

Linebacker T.J. Capers interception with 32 seconds left in the fourth quarter sealed victory. The Louisville defense came up big with four interceptions on the night, including Capers pick to stop Miami’s potential game-winning drive. JoJo Evans Jr., Jabari Mack, and Antonio Watts added an interception each.

Miller Moss finished the game 23-for-37 for 248 yards and two touchdowns, while also adding a rushing touchdown.
