DAYTON – The charity men’s basketball exhibition game between Dayton and Penn State on Sunday, Oct. 19 will be televised on FanDuel Sports Ohio, it was announced today.  The game, whose cause is to Spotlight and drive awareness and education of mental health and wellness in adolescents and young adults, will tip-off at 2 p.m. ET.  It will also be streamed on ESPN+.

“Broadcasting this exhibition game gives us a special chance to elevate the message of mental health awareness,” said UD Vice President and Director of Athletics Neil Sullivan. “Everyone involved recognizes how vital this cause is, and we’re committed to using every platform we can to spread the message and keep the conversation alive.”

There will be programming and content in the Arena and on the telecast about mental health and suicide prevention, and media and game timeouts will be used for special programming and public service announcements to promote mental health and wellness.

In two other items of schedule news, the University announced that its second exhibition game with Bowling Green will not be televised nor streamed.  In addition, all game times have been established for the season.

The remainder of the UD men’s basketball television designations will be announced at a later date.
