Ohio State Overview
• Carnell is a rising star at Ohio State … on the field as one of the top receivers in the country as well as off as a leader within the Buckeyes’ program
• Enters his true junior season in 2025 with 70 career receptions for 997 yards and five touchdowns
• Has played in 28 games and started 15 times with all his starts coming during the Buckeyes’ national championship season of 2024
• Has a reception in all 28 games he has played in with a high of seven vs. Texas (for 87 yards) in the CFP semifinal at the Cotton Bowl and six vs. both Purdue and Michigan during the 2024 season
• Five of his seven receptions vs. the Longhorns went for first downs
• His yardage high is 102 yards vs. Nebraska in 2024
• Had a memorable and personal homecoming in the Northwestern game at Wrigley Field with four catches for 52 yards and two touchdowns
• Playing alongside first-round NFL draft pick Emeka Egbuka and freshman sensation Jeremiah Smith, had 52 receptions for 733 yards and four touchdowns
• Played in all 13 games as a true freshman in 2023 and started in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl
