COLUMBUS BLUE JACKETS ACTIVATE FORWARD JORDAN DUMAIS, LOAN TO AHL’S CLEVELAND MONSTERS

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated Jordan Dumais off the Injured/Non-Roster list and loaned to the Cleveland Monsters, the team’s American Hockey League affiliate, club President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Don Waddell announced today.

 

Dumais, 21, missed the first week of the 2025-26 season with an injury.  He made his professional debut with Cleveland in 2024-25, finishing with four goals and seven assists for 11 points with 23 shots on goal in 21 appearances.  He registered 119-206-325, 38 penalty minutes and 526 shots on goal in 193 career appearances with the Halifax Mooseheads in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League from 2020-24.  The 5-8, 167-pound native of Montreal, Quebec was selected by the Blue Jackets in the third-round, 96th overall, at the 2022 NHL Draft.

 

Columbus plays its 2025-26 home opener tonight against the New Jersey Devils.  Game time from Nationwide Arena is 7 p.m. ET.  Live coverage on FanDuel Sports Network Ohio and the FanDuel Sports Network app begins with the Blue Jackets Live pre-game show starting at 6 p.m. ET.  The game will also be heard on the Blue Jackets Radio Network, including Sports Radio 97.1 The Fan in Columbus, and online at BlueJackets.com.
