“Prime Monday Night Hockey” enhances fan experience with Spittin’ Chiclets content and select appearances by Paul “Biz” Bissonnette throughout the 2025-26 season

 

TORONTO, October 9, 2025 – Prime Video today announced a new collaboration with Spittin’ Chiclets, one of hockey’s most influential podcasts, to bring exclusive content and commentary to Prime Monday Night Hockey in Canada for the 2025-26 NHL season. As part of the collaboration, the Spittin’ Chiclets crew will appear in exclusive content throughout the season and, in addition to his work as a studio analyst for NHL on TNT, Paul “Biz” Bissonnette will join the desk for select guest appearances as an analyst on Prime Monday Night Hockey, beginning with the season opener on October 13.

The collaboration marks Prime Video’s commitment to delivering sports content for Canadian fans. Prime Monday Night Hockey customers will enjoy original content from the full Spittin’ Chiclets crew, including Bissonnette, Ryan Whitney, and Keith Yandle, as part of the Monday night broadcast, with features in the pre-game show Home Ice Access and within intermission. The Spittin’ Chiclets crew will also appear on select episodes of NHL Coast to Coast, the live weekly whiparound studio show airing Thursday nights. Tonight, October 9, Keith Yandle will join host Andi Petrillo, providing live look-ins, highlights and expert analysis of every NHL game that night, exclusively on Prime Video in Canada.

Spittin’ Chiclets, part of the Barstool Sports network, has become a cornerstone of hockey media by bringing together former NHL players Paul Bissonnette, Ryan Whitney, and Keith Yandle to deliver outspoken and irreverent commentary on the sport. The podcast offers a unique blend of NHL coverage, pop culture discussions, and candid stories from the hosts’ playing days, resonating strongly with hockey fans seeking authentic, unfiltered perspectives on the game. Through this partnership, Prime Monday Night Hockey will tap into the distinctive voice and approach that has made the show a favourite among players and fans alike. Additionally, Spittin’ Chiclets will speak to the upcoming Prime Monday Night Hockey match-up on their weekly podcast, giving their first take of the action ahead of game night.

Bissonnette will make his first appearance on the premiere broadcast of Detroit Red Wings vs. Toronto Maple Leafs at 4 p.m. ET on October 13. The doubleheader broadcast will be followed by the St. Louis Blues facing the Vancouver Canucks at 7:30 p.m. ET.
