WHAT’S NEW

NEW MARKS

Fleur The Fleur-de-lis is a primary St. Louis icon featured on our city’s flag. The Fleur mark infuses flourishes of a treble clef footed by a note head.
STL The STL mark is a bold, treble clef-inspired design that harmonizes St. Louis’ and the Blues’ musical roots.
River Music The iconic Gateway Arch, reflecting in the Mighty Mississippi, come together to form a trumpet that pays tribute to the historic music scene of downtown St. Louis.

WORDMARKS

Rhythm in letterform. The primary wordmark embodies the steady flow of the Mississippi River, while the illustrative version builds upon this foundation with typography details inspired by W.C. Handy’s 1914 St. Louis Blues sheet music cover.

Primary Colors

The Blues are returning to their original colors—the classic blue and yellow first worn in 1967. While royal blue has served as the team’s primary color since 1984, we’re bringing back this bolder, more vibrant look to energize the brand while honoring our history.

The Process

Fans have overwhelmingly shown their affinity for the Blues’ heritage branding, especially during the three Winter Classic games that featured jerseys from that era. Surveys confirmed these throwback styles as fan favorites, with the 2017 Winter Classic jersey earning the top spot in a 2024-25 season bracket contest.

Fans spoke, and we listened—modernized versions of the heritage jerseys are here to stay. Rooted in a city known for its resilience and passion, the St. Louis Blues Hockey Club proudly introduces new tertiary marks, allowing fans to showcase their Blues and STL pride while honoring the unbreakable bond between team and city.
