Blending modern aesthetics with nods to tradition, the Ohio State men’s basketball program unveiled its new court coming to the Schottenstein Center ahead of the 2025-26 hoops season. The new court features a gray hardwood floor, scarlet painted keys, an interlocking Block O mosaic pattern throughout the out-of-bounds area and interchangeable center court logos including the traditional Block O and the signature Script Buckeyes featured on the men’s Clark Kellogg era alternate uniforms. Together, these design elements mark a new era for Buckeye Basketball and a refreshed game day atmosphere at the Schott.

The newly redesigned Ohio State basketball court introduces a recognizable visual update that blends modern aesthetics with nods to tradition. The most noticeable change is the gray hardwood floor. The unique look will set the tone for a refreshed game day atmosphere at the Schottenstein Center.
At center court, fans will see two distinct marks including the traditional Block O and the signature Script Buckeyes featured on the men’s Clark Kellogg era alternate uniforms. These two logos allow for a dynamic visual identity for marquee matchups while maintaining a strong connection to the program’s heritage.
After a two-decade-long hiatus, scarlet painted keys makes their long awaited return to the floor, adding contrast and character using the University’s primary colors. Rounding out the new design is a mosaic pattern throughout the out-of-bounds area, featuring interlocking Block Os and the state outline of Ohio near midcourt. This detailed pattern not only enhances the new court’s visual texture but also pays homage to the pride of past, present and future Buckeyes.
