NHL News: Maple Leafs’ Max Domi Fined for Boarding

NEW YORK (May 12, 2025) – Toronto Maple Leafs forward Max Domi has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for boarding Florida Panthers forward Aleksander Barkov during Game 4 of the teams’ Second Round series in Florida on Sunday, May 11, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.

 

The incident occurred at 19:52 of the third period. Domi was assessed a major penalty for boarding.

 

The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
