NEW YORK (April 29, 2025) – Florida Panthers defenseman Aaron Ekblad has been suspended for two games for elbowing Tampa Bay Lightning forward Brandon Hagel during Game 4 of the teams’ First Round series in Florida on Monday, April 28, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 11:20 of the second period.
