Talladega Storylines and Insights:
· This Saturday’s event will mark the 38th NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Talladega Superspeedway all-time, raced every season since 1992.
· Talladega is also scheduled as the middle race in the Round of 8 in the Playoffs.
· Chevrolet won the last 11 Xfinity Series races at Talladega Superspeedway, the second longest streak of wins by a make at a track behind 16 by Chevrolet at Bristol between 1997 and 2005.
· Jake Garcia will attempt to make his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut this Saturday, Jeffrey Earnhardt and Jesse Iwuji will be making their first starts of the season. Katherine Legge will be making her first Xfinity superspeedway start.
· 11 drivers on the entry list have never made an Xfinity Series start at Talladega.
· The last six NASCAR Xfinity Series Talladega Superspeedway races were won by six different drivers.
· Five of the last 11 Xfinity Series Talladega winners earned their first career series win – Jesse Love (2024), Brandon Brown (2021), Jeb Burton (2021), Justin Haley (2020), Spencer Gallagher (2018).
· Jeb Burton is the only active driver with multiple Xfinity Series Talladega wins, he won in 4/21 and 4/24.
· Jeb Burton’s two Talladega wins are one away from tying Martin Truex Jr. for most wins there in the Xfinity Series.
· Four active drivers have won at Talladega: Jeb Burton – 2, Aric Almirola, Jesse Love & Sammy Smith – 1 each.
