Team Working to Get Bobbleheads to All Fans Who Scanned into PNC Park After Initial 20,000 Allotment was Distributed

The Pittsburgh Pirates today sent email communication to all fans who entered PNC Park on Saturday, April 19, after the initial allotment of 20,000 bobbleheads were distributed. The Pirates are working to ensure that all fans who attended Saturday’s game and did not receive a bobblehead at the gate will receive a voucher redeemable for one Paul Skenes Rookie Card Bobblehead.

The email to fans reads in part, ‘To provide some peace of mind while we work through logistical timelines and details, we have added one barcoded Skenes Bobblehead ticket to your MLB Ballpark App account, for every ticket you had that scanned after the bobbleheads were distributed at the gates on Saturday. These tickets will act as a voucher which you will use to claim your Paul Skenes Bobblehead.’

The Pirates operational staff is working through timelines for arrival of the additional bobbleheads as well as the logistics for distributing them once they arrive. The email assures fans that their giveaway will be secured as the process continues and more information is made available.

Those limited number of fans who scanned into the game with paper tickets and were not attending the game as part of a group need to reach out to the Pirates either by phone 1-800-BUY-BUCS or by email at [email protected].
