  • RW Travis Konecny, who has collected seven assists in his last seven games (0-7-7), leads the Flyers in goals (tied), assists, points and power play goals with 24-51-75 and eight power play goals in 80 games played. The forward has collected 17-18-35 in 29 all-time games against the Blue Jackets and 9-10-19 in 14 career home games against the club.
  • RW Matvei Michkov has recorded 4-9-13 in the past 10 contests and ranks first-T on the club in goals and second in assists and points with 24-36-60 in 78 games played.  He is tied for the league lead among rookies in goals (Macklin Celebrini) and ranks third in points in 2024-25.

  • Columbus swept the top team in the Eastern Conference, the Washington Capitals in a home-and-home series with a 7-0 win at Nationwide Arena on Saturday and 4-1 win at Capital One Arena on Sunday.
  • CBJ went 4-0-0 last week, outscoring the opposition 19 (4.75) to five (1.25), while converting on 2-of-8 (25.0 pct.) on the power play and 8-of-9 (88.9 pct.) on the penalty kill in wins over Ottawa, Buffalo and Washington (home-and-home).
  • The team has improved its season totals by 11 wins and 19 points compared to 2023-24 (27-43-12, 66 pts.), posting the largest positive change in the NHL in wins and points (tied, Anaheim) from the past campaign.
  • The club has scored 258 goals in 2024-25, tying the franchise record for most goals scored in a season (2021-22).
  • The Blue Jackets are averaging 3.23 goals for per game, which is the highest average in a single season in franchise history (3.15, 2021-22), and ranks 10th in the NHL in 2024-25.

BLUE JACKETS PLAYER NOTES

  • Five Blue Jackets have reached the 20-goal plateau in 2024-25 (RW Kirill Marchenko – 31, F Adam Fantilli – 29, C Kent Johnson – 23, F Dmitri Voronkov – 22, and D Zach Werenski – 22), which is tied for the most in a season in franchise history (2018-19).
  • CBJ also have five 50-point scorers in 2024-25 with D Zach Werenski (78 in 79 GP), RW Kirill Marchenko (72 in 77 GP), F Kent Johnson (56 in 66 GP), F Sean Monahan (54 in 52 GP) and C Adam Fantilli (52 in 80 GP), which is tied for the most in a season in franchise history (2009-10, 2016-17).
  • Columbus ranks second in the NHL in goals, fourth in goal percentage and points percentage, fifth in points and sixth-T in assists with 48-146-194, 18.6 pct. of the club’s goals and 28.2 pct. of the team’s points in 80 contests.  The 48 goals are the second-most by CBJ blueliners in a single season, trailing only the 51 goals recorded in 2017-18.
  • D Dante Fabbro has collected 2-6-8 with two multi-point efforts in his past 10 outings.  He is tied for the club lead in blocked shots (130) and has already set a single-season career high in goals and points (tied) and has reached the 20-point plateau (7-17-24, 66 GP) for the second time in his career (3-21-24, 66 GP in 2021-22).
  • Adam Fantilli notched two goals in both wins of the home-and-home series against Washington.  He leads the club in goals and ranks second in points and third-T in assists since Jan. 1 with 22-15-37 in 42 contests.  The 20-year-old leads the club in multi-goal games and ranks second in goals and has set single-season career highs with 29-23-52 in 80 appearances in 2024-25.
  • G Jet Greaves was named the NHL’s First Star of the Week on Monday after going 3-0-0 with a 1.00 goals-against average, .968 save percentage and one shutout in three contests last week, stopping 90-of-93 shots faced.  He led the league in wins (tied), goals-against average (tied), save percentage and shutouts (tied) among netminders with two or more games played.
  • Boone Jenner has totaled 7-12-19 in 24 contests since making his season debut on Feb. 22 vs. Chicago.  He sits one goal shy (199) from becoming the third player with 200 career goals as a Blue Jacket (Rick Nash-289, Cam Atkinson-213).
  • Kent Johnson has collected assists in a career-high four consecutive games (1-5-6) for the third time in his career.  He has recorded 1-9-10 in the past eight outings, 7-14-21 in the past 25 games and 13-22-35 in the past 41 contests.  The 22-year-old has set single-season career highs with 23-33-56 in 66 appearances in 2024-25.
  • RW Kirill Marchenko, who has assists in two of the last three games (0-2-2), has tallied 6-4-10 in the past 11 contests as well as 21-27-48 in the last 51.  The forward leads the club in goals and plus/minus rating and ranks second in assists, points, multi-assist and multi-point efforts in 2024-25 with 32-40-72, +26, nine multi-assist and 16 multi-point outings in 77 contests.  He has already set single-season career highs in goals, assists and points (23-19-42, 2023-24) and is the first Jacket to record 30-goals in a campaign since Cam Atkinson in 2018-19 (41).  The 24-year-old is also the third Blue Jacket to record a 30-goal, 70-point campaign (Rick Nash in 2008-09, Nick Foligno in 2014-15).
  • Denton Mateychuk ranks second-T among NHL rookie blueliners in goals, assists and points with 4-9-13 in 43 contests in 2024-25.
  • Sean Monahan, who was announced as the Columbus PWHA as the chapter’s nominee for the Masterton Memorial Trophy on April 9, has recorded points in four-straight (2-3-5).  He has collected 5-8-13 in 11 contests since returning from a wrist injury on Mar. 24 at the NY Islanders.  He has also registered 10-19-29 with eight multi-point efforts in his past 20 games dating back to Dec. 19.   He has tallied 19-35-54 in 52 contests this season, posting the third-most assists in his career (48, 2018-19; 36, 2015-16).
  • RW Mathieu Olivier has recorded 1-2-3 in the last four outings and 8-6-14 in the past 23 contests.  He has already set single-season career highs and ranks second in the NHL in penalty minutes and hits and set a single-season franchise record in hits with 18-14-32, 143 PIM and 304 hits in 80 games.
  • LW James van Riemsdyk has collected points in three-straight (2-3-5), including his second three-point outing of the campaign on Saturday (1-2-3).  He has totaled 12-14-26 in 38 games since Jan. 1.
  • Zach Werenski has posted points in four-straight games (2-2-4) and has collected 2-7-9 in the past 10 contests and 4-12-16 in the past 21 games after scoring a goal in each game against the Capitals over the weekend.  The Grosse Pointe, Michigan native leads the NHL in TOI/GP as well as leads league blueliners in shots on goal and even strength goals (tied) and ranks second in goals, points, power play goals (tied) and even strength points as well as fourth in assists with 22-56-78, 16-35-51 at even strength, five PPG, 13 multi-assist games, 20 multi-point efforts and 290 shots on 26:48 of ice time in 78 contests this season.  He has already set single-season franchise records for goals (Werenski, 20 in 2019-20), assists (Werenski, 46 in 2023-24), points (Jones, 57 in 2017-18; Werenski, 57 in 2023-24) and shots on goal (Jones, 249 in 2017-18) by a defenseman.  He has also registered top-10 Blue Jackets single season campaigns in assists (2nd, tied), multi-point games (3rd, tied), multi-assists games (3rd, tied), points (4th) and shots on goal (5th).
