COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State’s spring game, the 2025 Spring Game, presented by Union Home Mortgage, is just two weeks away and it will be a game. Game on!

And that means, fans will see:

  • Three scholarship quarterbacks – third-year Lincoln Kienholz, second-year Julian Sayin and true freshman Tavien St. Clair – throwing passes to deep and talented receivers and tight ends units;
  • Running backs such as second-year players James Peoples and Sam Williams-Dixon, and West Virginia transfer and 2,000-plus rusher C.J. Donaldson, seeking daylight behind an offensive line that features three returning starters and a pair of tackles – Ethan Onianwa and Phillip Daniels – who were starters last year for Rice University and the University of Minnesota, respectively;
  • A defense that is under the direction of new coordinator Matt Patricia, a two-time Super Bowl winning coordinator for the New England Patriots; and
  • A total of 27 new scholarship players on the roster, including 21 true freshmen who have enrolled early and are taking part in spring drills.
