KANSAS CITY/DAYTON – Wright State’s Brandon Noel has been recognized by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) as a second team all-district performer, as the organization announced Tuesday the 2024-25 NABC Division I All-District Teams and coaches.
The All-District honors are voted on by NABC-member coaches across NCAA Division I. Noel was named to the second team in the East region, which includes schools in Ohio, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. The NABC introduced a new model for its Division I district alignment this season, with schools arranged by state rather than by conference. The modernized NABC Division I district alignment features 10 geographic regions that each encompass multiple states. Every Division I school in each given state belongs to that state’s corresponding district.
Noel, who also earned Horizon League second team honors, finished the season averaging 19.0 points per game with a 7.7 rebounds per game average. He shot 55.2 percent overall from the floor, third in the Horizon and Top 50 nationally, while his 238 field goals made is tops in the Horizon and Top 15 in the country. He recorded double figures scoring in 29 of 33 games and recorded 20-plus points 17 times this season with nine double-doubles on the season (six in Horizon League contests) and five additional games with nine rebounds.
