CBJ POST-GAME NOTES: RANGERS 4, BLUE JACKETS 0; No offense in Game 66

BLUE JACKETS TEAM NOTES

  • Columbus finished the season series against New York with a 1-2-1 record after tonight’s regulation loss.
  • The Jackets were shut out for the fourth time in the all-time series (55 games).
  • CBJ are now 8-3-1 in the last 12 home games in 2024-25.  The team has recorded points in 15 of the past 19 home contests (12-4-3) as well as 20 of the last 25 played at home (16-5-4).
  • Tonight’s attendance was a sellout crowd of 18,464.  It’s the sixth sellout in the past seven contests at Nationwide Arena since Jan. 25, 2025.

BLUE JACKETS PLAYER NOTES 

  • RW Kirill Marchenko (25-37-62, 63 GP) skated in his 200th career NHL game tonight.  Since making his debut on Dec. 6, 2022, he has led the Blue Jackets in goals, points, powerplay goals, shots on goal and games played with 69-60-129 and 18 PPG with 490 shots in 200 GP.
