Musketeers are shooting for their seventh-straight win.
CINCINNATI — The Xavier University Musketeers, 20-10 overall and 12-7 in the BIG EAST Conference, host the Providence College Friars, 12-18 overall and 6-13 in the BIG EAST, on Saturday at 4 p.m. at Cintas Center. Xavier is shooting for its seventh-straight win.
Xavier will honor seven student-athletes and six senior managers as part of Senior Day on Saturday. The player ceremony will start at approximately 3:30 p.m. Xavier will honor student-athletes Brad Colbert, Marcus Foster, Zach Freemantle, Jerome Hunter, Dante Maddox Jr., Dayvion McKnight and Bob Nunge.

• Xavier won its sixth-straight game with an 91-78 win at Butler on Wednesday. XU is 12-2 this season when it has 10 or fewer turnovers and is 9-1 when it has less than 10 turnovers, including six in the Creighton win on March 1 and a season-low five at Butler.
• Xavier graduate student Zach Freemantle scored a game-high 24 points in the win at Butler to go with eight rebounds. Freemantle leads the team in scoring (fifth in the BIG EAST at 17.1 ppg.) and rebounding (fifth in the BIG EAST at 7.1 rpg.).
• Xavier’s Zach Freemantle is 13th on XU’s all-time scoring list (1,689 points) and is 10th on the all-time rebounding list (868 rebounds). He is just 33 points shy of the top 10 on the scoring list, which would make him one of only four XU players in the top 10 for career scoring and rebounding. The current ones are David West, Tyrone Hill and Romain Sato.
• Xavier junior Ryan Conwell recorded his third-straight 20-point game with 21 points at Butler, while hitting five 3-pointers. Conwell is second on the team and ninth in the BIG EAST in scoring at 16.0 ppg. Conwell ranks third in the BIG EAST in 3-point percentage at .408 and fourth in 3-point field goals made at 2.9 per game.
• Xavier sophomore Dailyn Swain, coming off his third double-double of the season with 16 points and 10 rebounds at Butler, has averaged 11.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game in BIG EAST play.
• Xavier graduate student Dante Maddox Jr., who hit 3-4 3-pointers on his way to 16 points in the Creighton win on March 1, is shooting .457 (32-70) from 3-point range in BIG EAST play.
• Xavier graduate student Dayvion McKnight leads XU in assists at 4.4 apg. (eighth in the BIG EAST) and is second in the BIG EAST and 31st in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio at 2.67.
• Xavier is second in the BIG EAST and eighth in the nation in free throw percentage at .792, including 104-123 (.846) during the current six-game win streak. XU has four players in the top 15 in the BIG EAST in free throw percentage: Dailyn Swain (third at .827), Ryan Conwell (fifth at .825), Dayvion McKnight (seventh at .794) and Zach Freemantle (11th at .759).
Xavier leads the BIG EAST in fastbreak points (eighth in the nation in at 15.7 ppg.) and is second in free throw percentage (eighth in the nation at .792) and 3-point percentage (13th in the nation at .386). Xavier is third in the BIG EAST in assists per game (25th in the nation at 16.8 apg.) and assist-to-turnover ratio (32nd in the nation at 1.49).
