COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 13/12 Ohio State women’s basketball team (24-5, 13-5 B1G) enters the 2025 Big Ten Tournament as the No. 3 seed and will face the winner of the No. 6 seed Michigan State vs. No. 11 seed Iowa/No. 14 seed Wisconsin in the quarterfinals. Friday’s tip-off is scheduled for approximately 9 p.m. ET (25 minutes following the conclusion of the 6:30 p.m. game). The game will be broadcast on BTN and 97.1FM.

• Ohio State enters the Big Ten Tournament as the No. 3 seed and will play in the quarterfinals on Friday at approximately 9 p.m. The Buckeyes will face the winner of the No. 6 Michigan State vs. No. 11 Iowa/No. 14 Wisconsin game 25 minutes after the conclusion of the previous game, which starts at 6:30 p.m.
• Four Buckeyes were honored by the Big Ten Conference with end-of-season awards on Tuesday. Jaloni Cambridge was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year by both the league’s coaches (co) and media. She was also named to the All-Big Ten First Team (coaches, unanimous selection), the All-Big Ten Second Team (media) and the All-Freshman Team (C/M).
• Cotie McMahon was named to the All-Big Ten First Team by both the coaches (unanimous selection) and media. Taylor Thierry was named to the All-Big Ten Defensive Team by both groups and All-Big Ten Honorable Mention by the media. Madison Greene was selected as Ohio State’s Big Ten Sportsmanship Honoree.
• Michigan State is the No. 6 seed in the tournament and will face the winner of No. 11 seed Iowa vs. No. 14 Wisconsin game. The first round game will take place this evening while the second round game will take place Thursday at approximately 9 p.m., 25 minutes following the previous game’s conclusion.
• The most recent Big Ten Tournament meeting in the series with the Spartans came on March 4, 2022 in the quarterfinals when the top-seeded Buckeyes earned a 74-58 win. This season, Ohio State earned an 89-78 win just a week ago on Feb. 26 in Columbus.
• The most recent Big Ten Tournament meeting in the series came in the 2023 Big Ten Tournament Championship game when Iowa earned a 105-72 victory. This season, Ohio State earned an 86-78 overtime win on Feb. 17 in Columbus.
• The most recent Big Ten Tournament meeting in the series came on March 7, 2019 when Wisconsin earned a 73-63 win in the second round despite being the No. 13 seed. This season, Ohio State earned an 80-69 road win on Jan. 16 in Madison.
