COLUMBUS – Columbus Crew 2 announced today the transfer of midfielder Christopher Pearson to USL Championship side Las Vegas Lights FC. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Pearson spent the 2024 season with the Black & Gold, contributing two goals and two assists over 15 matches in the regular season. He scored and assisted on goals in the team’s 4-3 win over Huntsville City on March 30 and added another goal in 20 minutes of play against Atlanta United 2 on July 14.
At the international level, Pearson started five matches for Jamaica in the 2022 Concacaf Under-20 Championships and was named captain against Costa Rica and Honduras. He was also selected to the 2022 Jamaican Concacaf World Cup Qualifying squad.
Pearson joined Crew 2 after previously playing with FC Tulsa in the USL Championship, where he started eight of his 22 matches.
