Columbus Crew’s 30th season to feature engaging Theme Nights at Lower.com Field

COLUMBUS – As part of their dedication to creating engaging elements for fans during all gamedays at Lower.com Field, the Columbus Crew open their 30th season on Saturday against Chicago Fire FC with their first matchday theme – Goosebumps™ Night, when the Club will debut its recently unveiled Goosebumps™ Kit. To complement the Club’s exciting soccer on the pitch and the venue’s world-class amenities dedicated to creating an exceptional fan experience, the Black & Gold’s 2025 home slate features unique theme nights to further enhance supporters’ experience at their Fortress.

Columbus for the first time on Saturday will don the Goosebumps™ Kit, which celebrates Columbus’ own R.L. Stine, the writer of the globally recognized Goosebumps™ series, and Crew supporters who have honored the author with past tifo designs. All fans in attendance will receive winter beanies, courtesy of Nationwide.

2025 Theme Nights

Following their first road match at New England Revolution, the Black & Gold return home on Saturday, March 8 for Performance Columbus Family of Dealerships Night against Houston Dynamo FC. The match will feature a mascot party.

April begins with Youth Soccer Night, presented by Pathways Financial Credit Union, against CF Montreal on Saturday, April 5. Two weeks later, Coming to Cleveland Night, presented by Meijer, will be celebrated against Inter Miami CF on Saturday, April 19 at Cleveland’s Huntington Bank Field. As part of the Crew’s mission to advance youth soccer and education in Ohio, the Club will complete a community Legacy Project in Cleveland tied to the game this spring. The month concludes with Military Appreciation Night, presented by AEP, on Saturday, April 26 against San Jose Earthquakes.

The Black & Gold begin May with The Kids Mental Health Foundation Night, in partnership with Nationwide Children’s Hospital, on Saturday, May 3 against Charlotte FC. Lower.com Field will also host The 5K for Kids’ Mental Health, formerly the On Our Sleeves 5K, for the second consecutive year.

On Saturday, May 17, the Hell is Real Derby returns as the Crew host rivals FC Cincinnati. The Black & Gold’s match on Wednesday, May 28 against Nashville SC will be presented by Zenni. The game will also feature elements from the Stay in the Game! Attendance Network, whose mission is focused on promoting school attendance and student engagement with its partner districts in the state. SITG! has grown from 13 districts at its start during the 2019-2020 school year to now expecting more than 100 districts for the 2024-2025 academic year.

The Black & Gold are celebrating Soccer for All, presented by Chase, during their match against Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday, Jun. 14. The Crew’s match against Atlanta United FC on Wednesday, Jun. 25 will be presented by Nature Made. The Club’s match on Sunday, Jun. 29 against Philadelphia Union will be presented by OhioHealth.

After three straight road matches, the Black & Gold return home on Saturday, July 19 against D.C. United. Fans will be treated to an evening of fireworks courtesy of Lower following the match. The Crew finish the month on Friday, July 25 against Orlando City SC, presented by FCBank.

The Black & Gold have one home match in both August and September. The contest against the New England Revolution on Saturday, Aug. 23, is presented by Vertiv; while the tilt against Toronto FC on Saturday, Sept. 20 will highlight Latino Celebration, presented by Sherwin-Williams.

On Saturday, Oct. 18, Columbus’ regular season finale will once again be Fan Appreciation Night, presented by Cenovus Energy. The Black & Gold encapsulate their year-round appreciation for supporters against the New York Red Bulls. The evening will feature fan tributes, giveaways and more.

This year marks back-to-back seasons – the only two in Club history – that the Crew have sold all season tickets, thanks to their massive supporters. Information on how to join the wait list for future season tickets will be available soon.
