Five Musketeers reached double figures vs the Blue Demons
NOTABLE
- Xavier opened the game on a 10-0 run and led by as many as 14 points twice in the first half. The Musketeers never trailed in the contest.
- Xavier led by as many as 22 points (83-61) with 2:54 left in the second half. The Musketeers have now won six straight games vs DePaul.
- The Musketeers posted a .588 field-goal percentage (30-for-51) and went 4-for-15 from behind the arc. Xavier was also 21-for-24 from the foul line. The Musketeers now have eight games on the year with a .500 field-goal percentage or better.
- Zach Freemantle scored a game-high 19 points on 7-for-11 shooting. The forward also pulled down a game-high nine rebounds.
- Dailyn Swain finished with 17 points on 6-for-6 shooting. The sophomore dished out a game and career-high eight assists to go along with seven rebounds and two steals.
- Ryan Conwell and Dayvion McKnight both added 14 points. The two guards combined for six assists, four rebounds and four steals.
- Marcus Foster rounded out the double-figure scorers with 11 points. The guard added two steals and two rebounds.
- Xavier held a 40-28 advantage in bench points and scored one more point off turnovers (15-14) than DePaul. The Musketeers also scored eight more fastbreak points (16-8) than the Blue Demons.
- DePaul held a 27-10 advantage in bench points and scored four more second-chance (11-7) than Xavier.
- DePaul finished with a .441 field-goal percentage (26-for-59) and went 7-for-29 from behind the arc. The Blue Demons were also 9-for-12 from the foul line.
