GREEN BAY – Solomon Callaghan notched a new career high for the second straight game, finishing with 21 points to lead three Raiders in double figures on Sunday as Green Bay grabbed a 79-68 home win.
Wright State is back in action on Friday night at home as the Raiders host Northern Kentucky.
Callaghan finished the afternoon 7-of-12 from the floor with a trio of three-pointers, adding a perfect 4-of-4 mark at the free throw line with three assists in 37 minutes of action. Brandon Noel tallied 37 minutes of his own, collecting 14 points with six rebounds and four blocks. Jack Doumbia finished a rebound shy of a double-double, collecting 13 points and nine rebounds.
Alex Huibregtse was just shy of double digits himself, adding nine points to go along with three rebounds and two assists, while Michael Imariagbe grabbed nine rebounds and chipped in six points.
Wright State shot 39 percent overall in the loss (22-of-56) with a 5-of-19 mark from deep (26 percent) as the Raiders went to the line 24 times (19-of-24, 79 percent). Green Bay finished at 44 percent shooting (23-of-52) and hit seven three-pointers (7-of-16, 44 percent). The hosts were 26-of-34 (77 percent) at the line.
The Raiders outrebounded Green Bay 37-31, with 27 boards on the defensive glass.
Ben Tweedy finished with 27 points to pace four Green Bay players with double figures scoring on Sunday.
