Wright State has Homecoming Tonight as Men’s Basketball welcomes in a much-improved IU Indy squad at 7 PM

DAYTON – The Wright State men’s basketball team returns home for a Saturday night meeting with IU Indy inside the Nutter Center as the Raiders celebrate 2025 Homecoming. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. and fans can follow the action several ways – watching on ESPN+, via live stats or by tuning in to the home for Raider Basketball 101.5 HANK FM and WING 1410 AM. Chris Collins and Jim Brown will have all the play-by-play on the radio television feeds.

Fans can tune into 101.5 HANK FM live over the air in the Dayton metro area, as well stream the station live nationwide through a variety of free streaming apps. The iHeartRadio app, the TuneIn Radio app and the Audacy app are all FREE and each carry 101.5 HANK FM. Just search “101.5 HANK FM” on any of the three apps for Raider Basketball.

**Fans are encouraged to use the Wright State Raiders app as the primary method for managing their digital tickets, which are required for entry to all WSU basketball events. Tickets for the 2024-25 basketball seasons are now uploaded and accessible on all purchaser accounts. Fans can easily view their tickets, download them to their mobile wallet, or transfer them to another individual account.**

ROWDY RAIDER JERSEY AUCTION
Wright State will wear its throwback jerseys featuring the Rowdy Raider mascot on them Saturday night. These jerseys will be up for auction – bids are being accepted now and the auction runs through Sunday at 11:59 p.m. ET. 

LAST TIME OUT 
Wright State scored the first seven points of the night, but the shorthanded Raiders were unable to keep pace with Purdue Fort Wayne on Wednesday, falling 87-64 on the road in Horizon League action. Wright State was limited to nine available players making the trip due to illness. The Raiders were led by Brandon Noel’s 25 points and 10 rebounds, his seventh double-double of the season and third in the last four contests.

DOUBLING UP NOEL
Brandon Noel has tallied double-doubles in three of the last four games overall and enters Saturday with seven such games this season. Noel has recorded 20-plus points 13 times this season and currently has 26 such games in his career. He has recorded double-digits scoring in 21 of 25 games this season. In addition to the double-doubles, Noel has four more games where he finished with nine boards.

TRIPLES STREAK TRIPPED UP
Alex Huibregtse was held scoreless on Feb. 5 at Purdue Fort Wayne for the first time since November 2021 against Marshall. Huibregtse’s streak of consecutive games with a made three-point basket ended at 32 games in the loss, his first time not connecting from deep since February 1, 2024 against Youngstown State.

A SERIES CALLED JAG(S)
Wright State and IU Indy (formerly IUPUI) have previously met 26 times entering Saturday’s action, with the Raiders leading the series 23-3 having won the last 14 meetings and 17 of the last 18 matchups overall. IU Indy won the first game of the series back on Nov. 29, 1976 (89-84) but the Raiders have had almost all the success in the series since.

EYING IU INDY
– IU Indy is 8-17 overall and 4-10 in the Horizon League, having lost three of its last four games overall. The Jaguars are currently 3-9 on the road, however, they won their last road contest at Youngstown State on Feb. 1 (84-79).
– IU Indy has three players averaging double digits scoring, led by Paul Zilinskas (17.5 ppg). Jarvis Walker (15.2 ppg) and Sean Craig (10.9 ppg) are also averaging 10-plus points a night.

HOT SHOTS
Three regular rotation players are connecting at over 50.0 percent from the floor, led by Michael Imariagbe’s 57.3 percent, followed by Brandon Noel (54.3) and Jack Doumbia (52.8), with Logan Woods (48.5) and Alex Huibregtse (44.2) just off the shooting pace. Andrea Holden is shooting 62.9 after 10 games.
