COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 12/12 Ohio State women’s basketball team (18-1, 7-1 B1G) travels to RV/No. 25 Nebraska (15-4, 6-2 B1G) on Sunday for a 3 p.m. ET tip. The game will be broadcast on B1G+ and AM1460.
- Ohio State beat No. 8/10 Maryland by a 74-66 margin on Thursday evening for the Buckeyes’ first win against a top 10 team this season and third win against a ranked opponent.
- Maryland built a 22-12 lead after one quarter. Ohio State battled back and took its first and final lead on a three-pointer from Kennedy Cambridge in the third quarter amidst a 15-0 run that saw OSU go from being down 50-40 with 5:52 to play in the quarter to up 55-50 with two minutes remaining in the third.
- J. Cambridge (20), McMahon (14), Thierry (13) and K. Cambridge (career-high 12) all scored in double figures. J. Cambridge led the team with eight rebounds and Elsa Lemmilä had four blocks.
- RV/No. 25 Nebraska enters the game with a 15-4 overall record and is 6-2 in conference play.
- The Huskers own wins over Minnesota, Penn State, then No. 20 Michigan State, Rutgers, Iowa and Wisconsin and have only lost to No. 1 UCLA and No. 4 USC within Big Ten play.
- Alexis Markowski leads the Huskers with 14.5 points and 8.2 rebounds per game. Britt Prince is also averaging double figures with 13.6 points per game.
- Ohio State leads 11-9 in the all-time series against Nebraska after three Buckeye wins were later vacated due to NCAA rulings. The all-time series is tied in Lincoln with each team winning four games.
- In the most recent meeting on Feb. 14, 2024, Ohio State earned its largest win of the series with an 80-47 decision in Columbus, also holding Nebraska to its lowest point total of the series.
