Wright State Raiders Two-game homestand begins Tonight against Milwaukee; Saturday Detroit Mercy comes to Fairborn

DAYTON – The Wright State men’s basketball team kicks off a two-game homestand this week when the Raiders welcome Milwaukee to the Nutter Center for a Wednesday night contest, with tipoff set for 7 p.m. Fans can follow the action several ways – watching on ESPN+, via live stats or by tuning in to the home for Raider Basketball 101.5 HANK FM and WING 1410 AM. Chris Collins and Jim Brown will have all the play-by-play on the radio television feeds.

Fans can tune into 101.5 HANK FM live over the air in the Dayton metro area, as well stream the station live nationwide through a variety of free streaming apps. The iHeartRadio app, the TuneIn Radio app and the Audacy app are all FREE and each carry 101.5 HANK FM. Just search “101.5 HANK FM” on any of the three apps for Raider Basketball.

Tickets for the 2024-25 basketball seasons are now uploaded and accessible on all purchaser accounts. LAST TIME OUT 
Keaton Norris turned in a career- and game-high 21 points to lead four Raiders in double figures as Wright State went on the road and grabbed a 78-70 Horizon League victory over Northern Kentucky on Saturday afternoon. Norris added five assists and three rebounds over 35 minutes of action with zero turnovers. Jack Doumbia turned in 15 points and eight rebounds while Brandon Noel tallied 10 of his 12 points in the second half and added six rebounds. Alex Huibregtse finished with 11 points as the final double-digit Raider, while Michael Imariagbe and Andrea Holden combined for 17 rebounds.

NEW NORRIS
In four games since returning from injury on Jan. 9, Keaton Norris has turned in double digits scoring three times, including a career-best 21 points at Northern Kentucky on Jan. 18. He is shooting 50 percent overall during the stretch while also connecting at 50 percent from three-point range, adding 20 assists, 18 rebounds and eight turnovers while averaging just under 35 minutes per game.

DOUBLE JACK
Jack Doumbia averaged a double-double over a pair of games last week, finishing with a 19.0 points/game and 10.5 rebounds a game average. He had a double-double on Wednesday against Purdue Fort Wayne with 23 points and 13 rebounds and then added 15 points and eight rebounds on Saturday at Northern Kentucky.

MILWAUKEE MATCHUP
Wright State and Milwaukee have met 73 times previously, with the Raiders holding a 39-34 lead over Milwaukee in the series, including wins in 10 of the last 14 meetings. The first meeting came back on Jan. 17, 1977 in Milwaukee, a 75-66 Panther win. The first Wright State home game was the following year – a 71-69 Raider win on Feb. 13, 1978.

PANTHER POINTS
– Milwaukee is 13-7 overall with a 6-3 Horizon League mark, entering Wednesday coming off its first home loss of the season against Robert Morris. Milwaukee is 3-6 on the road (2-2 Horizon road).
– Five Milwaukee players are averaging double-digits scoring, paced by Themus Fulks at 15.3 points/game, while Jamichael Stillwell is averaging a double-double at 13.9 points and 11.5 rebounds per game.

PASSING OUT HELPERS
Wright State is assisting on 83.9 percent of its three-point shots to date, adding a 37.1 percent rate on overall two-point shooting, a mark that goes up to 48.7 percent in shots taken at the rim (within 4.5 feet of the basket).
