Miami RedHawks in Mid-Major Top 25 Coaches Poll the Past Two Weeks

BOSTON, Mass. — The Miami University men’s basketball team was selected to the Mid-Major Top 25® Poll on Monday. The RedHawks were voted No. 25 after securing five consecutive victories and starting Mid-American Conference play 3-0.

Over the last five games, Miami has averaged 99.8 points per game (+28.6 scoring margin), 35.4 rebounds per game and 22.8 assists per game. Defensively, the RedHawks recorded 9.6 turnovers per game (+6.8 turnover margin) with a 2.4 assist/turnover ratio. Miami also shot 56.1% (184-328) from the field, 76.6% (59-77) from the free-throw line and 49% (72-147) from behind the three-point line.

BOSTON, Mass. — The Miami University men’s basketball team was selected to the Mid-Major Top 25® Poll for the second week in a row. The RedHawks were voted No. 18 (previously No. 25) on Monday after securing seven consecutive victories and starting Mid-American Conference play 5-0.

Over the last seven games, Miami has averaged 93.3 points per game (+23.9 scoring margin), 35.7 rebounds per game and 19.7 assists per game. Defensively, the RedHawks forced 14.7 turnovers per game (+3.0 turnover margin) with a 1.7 assist/turnover ratio. Miami also shot 54.7% (233-426) from the field, 78.9% (97-123) from the free-throw line and 46.6% (90-193) from behind the three-point line.
