COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 10/9 Ohio State women’s basketball team (13-0, 2-0 B1G) hosts Northwestern (7-7, 0-3 B1G) on Sunday afternoon for a 1 p.m. ET matinee. The game will be broadcast on B1G+ and AM1460.

Make sure to arrive early on Sunday as the first 2,000 fans will receive free glow sticks. Stick around for a postgame meet and greet with the team on the concourse as the Buckeyes will stick around for an extra 45 minutes after the game. The first 500 people to arrive at the meet and greet will receive a free team poster.

• Ohio State beat Rutgers on the road by a 77-63 margin on Dec. 29 to wrap up the calendar year. The Buckeyes outscored the Scarlet Knights 23-9 in the second quarter. OSU’s defense recorded 15 steals and forced 22 Rutgers turnovers.
• Chance Gray scored her 1,000th career point on a layup with less than two minutes remaining in the game.
• The Buckeyes had four score in double figures – Cotie McMahon (16), Ajae Petty (16), Gray (15) and Taylor Thierry (14). McMahon and Petty added 11 and 10 rebounds, respectively, to earn double-doubles.
• Northwestern enters with a 7-7 overall record and a 0-3 B1G record after falling to Oregon by an 85-65 mark on New Year’s Eve.
• The Wildcats have also played No. 23 Michigan and Washington to begin the conference schedule.
• Northwestern has four players averaging double figures – Caileigh Walsh (11.2), Melannie Daley (10.7), Taylor Williams (10.5) and Grace Sullivan (10.5). Williams leads the team with 9.1 rebounds per game.
• Ohio State leads 48-21 in the all-time series with Northwestern and has the 25-7 advantage when facing the Wildcats in Columbus. The most recent meeting in Columbus was on Jan. 19, 2023 when Ohio State earned an 84-54 win.
• Last season, the Buckeyes earned a 90-60 win in Evanston on Jan. 5 in the teams’ lone meeting of the season. The Ohio State defense forced 28 Northwestern turnovers and recorded 15 steals. OSU scored 37 points off the NW turnovers and recorded 23 assists in the game. The Buckeyes had six players score in double figures.
