Musketeers are looking for their sixth-straight win over the Hoyas.
CINCINNATI — The Xavier University Musketeers, 9-5 overall and 1-1 in the BIG EAST Conference, hit the road for another league test vs. the Georgetown University Hoyas, 11-2 overall and 2-0 in the BIG EAST, on Friday night at 8 p.m. in Washington D.C. Xavier, coming off a 94-72 win over Seton Hall on Tuesday, is looking for a second-straight win, while Georgetown is looking for a fifth-straight win.
Xavier, which has played its BIG EAST slate without leading scorer and rebounder Zach Freemantle, has five players averaging double-figures in scoring in league play.

• Xavier, 9-5 overall and 1-2 in the BIG EAST, placed six players in double figures in scoring in its 94-72 win over Seton Hall. Five XU players are averaging double figures in BIG EAST play.
• Xavier leads the BIG EAST in fastbreak points (sixth in the nation in at 18.3 ppg.) and 3-point percentage (seventh in the nation at .406). Xavier is third in the BIG EAST in free-throw percentage (22nd in the nation at .781), assists per game (25th in the nation at 17.6 apg.) and assist-to-turnover ratio (40th in the nation at 1.52).
• Xavier junior newcomer Ryan Conwell, a preseason Third Team All-BIG EAST selection who is coming off a game-high 22-point effort in the Seton Hall win, is second on the team and sixth in the BIG EAST in scoring at 16.6 ppg.
• Xavier’s Ryan Conwell has hit at least two 3-pointers in 13 of the first 14 games. Conwell ranks second in the BIG EAST and 25th in the nation at 3.3 3-point field goals made per game.
• Xavier graduate student Marcus Foster is second on the team and tied for 11th in the BIG EAST in scoring for league games only at 15.0 ppg.
• Xavier graduate student Jerome Hunter has started all three of XU’s BIG EAST games and contributed 11.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.3 blocks and 1.3 steals per game.
• Xavier graduate student Dayvion McKnight, preseason Second Team All-BIG EAST, leads XU in assists at 4.8 apg. (tied for eighth in the BIG EAST) and is second in the BIG EAST and 31st in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio at 3.05.
• Xavier sophomore Dailyn Swain, who is eighth in the BIG EAST in free-throw percentage at .833, has hit 15-15 from the free-throw line in BIG EAST play and has an active streak of 19-straight free throws made. He is ninth in the BIG EAST in field goal percentage at .538.
• Xavier graduate student Dante Maddox Jr., who had 14 points and six assists vs. Seton Hall, set Xavier career highs for points (22), 3-pointers (5) and minutes played (35) at UConn.
• Xavier graduate student Zach Freemantle, preseason Second Team All-BIG EAST, is out indefinitely with a lower body injury; he has not played in any of XU’s BIG EAST games. He is leading the team in scoring (fifth in the BIG EAST at 16.9 ppg.) and rebounding (fifth in the BIG EAST at 7.7 rpg.). He leads the BIG EAST in defensive rebounding at 6.0 drpg.
