NCAA News: Notre Dame-Georgia CFP Sugar Bowl postponed until Thursday

Wednesday night’s College Football Playoff quarterfinal between Georgia and Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl has been postponed to Thursday following a deadly terror attack in the New Orleans French Quarter, officials confirmed in a press conference Wednesday afternoon, hours before scheduled 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff.

At least 15 people were killed and more injured when a driver plowed his pickup truck through crowds around 3:15 a.m. local time Wednesday morning.

No new kickoff time for Thursday has been announced. More updates to come.
