Gray averaged 18.5 points per game in the Buckeyes’ pair of wins last week.
Gray led the Buckeyes to a pair of wins last week with 18.5 points per game. She also averaged 2.5 steals and 1.5 assists per game. Gray led the guards with a 53.6 percent shooting mark from the floor and all players with a 45.5 percent success rate from behind the arc.
Gray began the week with a game-high 23 points against Grand Valley State, including a 5-of-8 (.625) three-point shooting performance. It was her fourth 20-point game of the season and fourth game with at least four made triples. In Friday’s neutral-site win against Stanford, Gray finished with 14 points, three steals and a pair of assists. This season, she is averaging 16.3 points per game and leads the team in three-point shooting (35-of-81, .432). Gray ranks second in the Big Ten with 2.9 made three-pointers per game and is sitting at 986 career points.
