ATHENS, Ohio — The Ohio men’s basketball team (4-6) is back in action for one final game before the holiday on Wednesday, Dec. 18 when they host Austin Peay (4-6). Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. inside the Convocation Center. The game can be seen on ESPN+ where Sam Hyman and Bob Boldon will have the call.
The Bobcats’ matchup can also be heard on the Ohio Sports Network from Learfield, presented by Holzer Health System. Jason Toy begins his first season on the mic for the Bobcats.
STORYLINES
• This is the sixth all-time meeting between Ohio and Austin Peay.
• Ohio leads the all-time series, 3-2.
• Ohio and Austin Peay met last season, with the Governors winning, 71-67 in Clarksville.

Austin Peay enters the matchup with the Bobcats with a 4-6 record after falling to Southern Illinois, 65-60 on Saturday night in Clarksville.
Austin Peay averages 64.0 points a game, while shooting .99 from the field, .316 from three and .728 from the line, while opponents are averaging 70.2 points per game, while shooting .454 from the field, .335 from three and .701 from the line.
Marshall averages 31.6 rebounds, 9.9 assists, 7.0 steals and 2.2 blocks a game, while forcing 12.9 turnovers a game. Meanwhile, Austin Peay opponents average 37.5 rebounds, 13.8 assists, 5.6 steals and 4.0 blocks a game, while forcing Austin Peay to turn the ball over an average of 11.1 times a contest.
