FRIDAY: Miami travels west to take on the Indiana Hoosiers Friday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. The RedHawks are off to their best start since the 2021-22 season, when the team started 5-0.
ABOUT INDIANA: Indiana is coming off of a 19-14 (10-10 Big Ten) season in 2023-24. Head coach Mike Woodson is in his fourth season with the Hoosiers. Heading into the 2024-25 season, Indiana was selected to finish second overall in the Big Ten Preseason Media Poll.
Indiana is currently 6-2, as the team most recently defeated Sam Houston 97-71 Tuesday night. Mackenzie Mgbako leads the team in points per game (16.8). Trey Galloway (4.0) and Myles Rice (3.6) have recorded the most assists per game. Oumar Ballo heads the team in rebounds per game (8.3) and blocks per game (2.1). Malik Reneau holds the most steals per game (1.8) so far this season.
THE SERIES WITH THE HOOSIERS: Monday will mark the 26th time Miami and Indiana have faced off. The Hoosiers lead the all-time series 22-3. The last time each team faced off, the Red and White fell to Indiana in a neutral site game 56-86 on Nov. 20, 2022.
TELEVISION: Miami’s eighth game of the season will be available to watch on Big Ten Network.
RADIO: In its sixth year of its partnership with Van Wagner, the Miami Sports Network continues its coverage of Miami men’s basketball with a group of affiliates blanketing most of Southwest Ohio and Southeast Indiana. Terry Bridge will call the action. Tune in to one of Miami’s gameday affiliates:

MAKING HISTORY: The Miami University men’s basketball team topped Air Force 73-60 this past Monday night. Peter Suder led all players with a career-high 42 points (17-of-21 from the field), the most ever by a Miami player at Millett Hall. This point total is tied for the sixth-highest all-time by a Miami player and the largest amount scored since Wally Szczerbiak scored 43 in 1999.
SUDER BALL: Suder has scored in double figures in each of the past five games and is shooting 66.1% from the floor (39-of-59) over that span. With Monday’s 42-point performance, Peter Suder now has the fourth-highest points scored against Air Force in their program history behind only Adrian Dantley (49), Tom Hawkins (43) and Elvin Hayes (43). So far this season, 42 points scored is the most by a MAC player (previously held by Ohio’s AJ Clayton, 34 points at Portland 11/22/24).
MAC LEADERS: So far this season, Miami ranks among conference leaders in multiple statistical categories:
- Kam Craft ranks 12th in the MAC with 14.1 points per game and has knocked down 2.86 threes per game (second in MAC)
- Mekhi Cooper is tied for sixth in the conference with 1.6 steals per game
- Eian Elmer is 13th in the MAC for his scoring (14.0), tied for 11th in three-point field goal percentage (.417), fourth in steals per game (2.0) and tied for sixth in blocked shots per game (0.90)
- Peter Suder is third overall in the MAC for his scoring each game (17.4), third in field foal percentage (.588), tied for sixth in steals (1.6) and finds himself at 12th in assists per game (3.0)
- Antwone Woolfolk is fourth overall in the MAC with a .578 field goal percentage and he is also ninth in the conference for his rebounding each game (6.4)
