  • LW Jared McCann leads Seattle in goals, assists and points with 7-10-17 in 15 outings and has totaled 9-7-16 in 20 career games against Seattle.
  • Brandon Montour, who won the 2024 Stanley Cup with Florida, leads club blueliners with 4-7-11 in his first 14 games with the Kraken, ranking second-T among NHL blueliners in goals and 12th-T in points.

  • Columbus has gone 2-4-0 in six all-time meetings vs. the Kraken, including 1-2-0 on the road.
  • Seattle has won the last four games of the series dating back to Jan. 28, 2023 after CBJ earned overtime victories in both of the teams’ first two games in 2021-22.

  • Columbus fell in a back-to-back set at Los Angeles (2-5) on Saturday and Anaheim (2-4) on Sunday.
  • The club completes a five-game road trip at Seattle on Tuesday.  It’s part of a stretch of seven-of-eight games played away from Nationwide Arena from Nov. 2-18.  The five-game road trip is tied for the longest of the season, also playing five consecutive road contests from Dec. 1-8.
  • CBJ play their fourth (1-1-1) of 17 Tuesday games of the season when they visit the Kraken.  The team plays nine of its Tuesday contests on the road.
  • The club’s 3.14 goals-for/game in 2024-25 ranks 15th in the NHL.
  • CBJ have scored in 28-of-42 regulation periods this season.  The team has also registered 13 multi-goal frames.
  • Columbus’ 35 goals scored at 5-on-5 play are tied with Winnipeg for the ninth-most in the NHL this season.
  • The club has had 17 different goal scorers this season after F Dmitri Voronkov and D Ivan Provorov notched their first goals of 2024-25 in Saturday’s contest at Los Angeles.  CBJ’s 17 goal scorers are two shy of St. Louis for the league lead.
  • Columbus opened the scoring on Saturday at Los Angeles and has scored the first goal in eight (5-2-1) of the 14 games this season.
  • The Blue Jackets recorded a power play goal in both games (2-of-5; 40.0 pct.) of the back-to-back set at Los Angeles (Saturday) and Anaheim (Sunday).  The team ranks 10th in the NHL in power play efficiency since Oct. 28 (23.5 pct.; 4-of-17 in 7 GP).
  • CBJ killed off both of the Ducks’ power play chances on Sunday.  The club has killed off 22-of-25 opponent power play chances over the last nine games (88.0 pct.; 5th in NHL since Oct. 22) and 29-of-33 PP chances over the past 12 contests (87.9 pct.; 4th-T since Oct. 15).

BLUE JACKETS PLAYER NOTES

  • RW Yegor Chinakhov has recorded points in two of the past three contests (1-1-2), including a power play goal at Anaheim.  He ranks third-T on the team in goals, assists and points with 4-6-10 in 14 outings.
  • Justin Danforth collected assists on both of the Blue Jackets’ goals at Los Angeles for his second multi-assist outing of the season and third of his NHL career.
  • Adam Fantilli has registered assists in two of the last four contests and has totaled 1-4-5 in the last eight games.
  • Jack Johnson became the 38th defenseman – and seventh American-born blueliner – in NHL history to play in 1,200 career games during Sunday’s contest at Anaheim.
  • RW Kevin Labanc has recorded a point in six of his 10 games (1-5-6), including his first goal as a Blue Jacket at Washington on Nov. 2.
  • RW Kirill Marchenko collected points on both of the club’s goals at Anaheim on Sunday (1-1-2) and has registered points in six of the last nine games (4-5-9).  The forward leads the club in goals (tied), assists, points and multi-point efforts with 6-9-15 and five multi-point efforts in 14 contests.  His 50 goals are the most by a Blue Jacket since making his NHL debut in 2022-23.
  • Sean Monahan is tied for the team lead in goals and ranks second in points and multi-point outings with 6-5-11 and three multi-point games in 14 contests.  He sits one assist shy from becoming the fourth player from the 2013 NHL Draft to collect 300 career assists, joining Nathan MacKinnon (586), Aleksander Barkov (455) and Elias Lindholm (346).
  • RW Mathieu Olivier who has recorded 4-2-6 in the first 14 contests this season, sits one goal shy of tying his career high (66 GP in 2022-23; 54 GP in 2023-24).
  • Damon Severson is tied for the club lead among blueliners in goals and ranks second in assists (tied) and points with 3-4-7 in 14 games.
  • Cole Sillinger has collected 1-3-4 in the past seven games.  A season after setting a career high in assists (19), he ranks third-T on the club in that category with 2-6-8 in 14 outings.
  • Zach Werenski collected an assist while playing in his 500th career NHL game at Anaheim on Sunday.  He has posted 1-5-6 in the last nine games.  He ranks third among NHL blueliners in shots on goal and eighth-T in goals with 3-7-10 and 55 shots in 14 contests this season.  The 27-year-old is the Blue Jackets’ all-time leader in goals, assists and points by a defenseman with 93-219-312 in 500 games and sits five points shy of tying David Vyborny (317) for fifth on the all-time points list.
