- Columbus opened its second of 12 back-to-back sets of the season with a 5-2 loss at Los Angeles on Saturday.
- The club plays its fourth game of a five-game road trip at Anaheim on Sunday. The five-game road trip is tied for the longest of the season, also playing five consecutive road contests from Dec. 1-8.
- The Blue Jackets play their first of eight Sunday games when it visits the Ducks. All eight games are played away from Nationwide Arena, including three-straight Sundays from Dec. 1-15 (Chicago, Winnipeg, Carolina).
- The club’s 3.23 goals-for/game in 2024-25 ranks 15th in the NHL.
- CBJ have scored in 26-of-39 regulation periods this season. The team has also registered 13 multi-goal frames.
- Columbus’ 34 goals scored at 5-on-5 play are tied for the eighth-most in the NHL this season.

- C Justin Danforth collected assists on both of the Blue Jackets’ goals at Los Angeles for his second multi-assist outing of the season and third of his NHL career.
- D Jack Johnson sits one contest from becoming the 38th defenseman – and seventh American-born blueliner – in NHL history to play in 1,200 career games.
- RW Kevin Labanc has recorded a point in six of his 10 games (1-5-6), including his first goal as a Blue Jacket at Washington on Nov. 2.
- RW Kirill Marchenko has registered points in five of the last eight games (3-4-7). He has registered 3-1-4 in the last six games. He sits one assist shy from becoming the fourth player from the 2013 NHL Draft to collect 300 career assists, joining Nathan MacKinnon (586), Aleksander Barkov (455) and Elias Lindholm (346).
- RW Mathieu Olivier who has recorded 4-2-6 in the first 13 contests this season, sits one goal shy of tying his career high (66 GP in 2022-23; 54 GP in 2023-24).
- D Damon Severson has collected points in three of the last five (2-1-3). He ranks second among Columbus blueliners in points with seven 3-4-7 in 13 games.
- C Cole Sillinger has collected 1-3-4 in the past six games. A season after setting a career high in assists (19), he ranks second-T on the club in that category with 2-6-8 in 13 outings.
- LW James van Riemsdyk collected an assist on Nov.1 vs Winnipeg and has points in three of his past six contests (1-2-3).
- D Zach Werenski has posted points in four of the last eight games (1-4-5). He ranks fourth among NHL blueliners in shots on goal and seventh-T in goals with 3-6-9 and 47 shots in 13 contests this season. The 27-year-old is the Blue Jackets’ all-time leader in goals, assists and points by a defenseman with 93-218-311 in 499 games and sits six points shy of tying David Vyborny (317) for fifth on the all-time points list. He also ranks seventh among NHL blueliners in goals since making his NHL debut in 2016-17 (NSH’s Roman Josi, 130). He is slated to become the fourth defenseman to play 500 career games with the Blue Jackets on Sunday.
