“The Godfather” posted an 89.9 overall grade at Texas Tech
CINCINNATI – Cincinnati redshirt junior defensive tackle Dontay Corleone was named to PFF’s National Team of the Week following his performance at Texas Tech.
Despite taking on constant double teams, Corleone lived in the backfield against Texas Tech, finishing with four tackles, including a TFL and one hurry.
He finished with an 89.9 overall grade and a 90.5 grade against the run.After missing the first game of the season, Corleone has started each of the past four contests.
The Cincinnati native has totaled 13 tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack and four QB hurries.
Corleone is a PFF mainstay, earning the highest PFF grade for any FBS defensive player in 2022 and ranking as the third-best interior defensive lineman in 2023. He also earned All-America distinctions from PFF in 2022.
