CLEVELAND, Ohio – Dom Dzioban has been named Mid-American Conference Special Teams Player of the Week after recording a perfect Saturday afternoon in a 23-20 overtime win over UMass.

The red-shirt junior drilled all three of his field-goal attempts (37, 47 and 43 yards) and both extra points, helping the RedHawks to their first victory of the year. Dzioban sent the game to overtime with a career-long 47-yard field goal as time expired. After Miami’s defense shutdown UMass down in OT, Dzioban connected on a 43-yard walk-off field goal.

Miami returns to action this Saturday at Toledo.
