All Three Games Will Be Played In Dayton

DAYTON – The University of Dayton and Thomas More University have announced that their football teams will play a three-game series beginning in 2025.

All three games will be played in Dayton.

The first game of the series between two Catholic institutions roughly 60 miles apart will open the 2025 season on Sept. 6, 2025.  That game will be Thomas More’s first football game as a fully-fledged NCAA Division II member.  The second game will be on Sept. 12, 2026, in the second week of that season, and the third will be played on Sept. 4, 2027 in that year’s season opener.

Dayton and Thomas More have played once before, an 18-7 Dayton win in 1992 when both schools competed at the NCAA Division III level.
