Browns elevated T Germain Ifedi and TE Blake Whiteheart to the active roster from the practice squad
The Cleveland Browns have signed WR James Proche II and LB Winston Reid to the active roster from the practice squad. The team has also elevated T Germain Ifedi and TE Blake Whiteheart to the active roster from the practice squad. The club has also waived WR Jaelon Darden.
Proche (5-11, 193) is in his fifth season in the NFL out of SMU. Originally a sixth-round pick by Baltimore in 2020, he has appeared in 53 career games. He has registered 25 career receptions for 278 yards, while adding 49 punt returns for an 8.6 average. Proche will wear No. 11.
Reid (6-0, 225) is a rookie out of Weber State. Originally signed by the Browns as an undrafted free agent, Reid spent Week 1 on the team’s practice squad. He will wear No. 59.
Ifedi (6-5. 325) is in his ninth NFL season out of Texas A&M. Originally a first-round pick by Seattle in 2016, Ifedi has appeared in 103 career games with 83 starts with the Seahawks (2016-19), Bears (2020-21), Falcons (2023) and Browns (2024). Ifedi will wear No. 65.
Whiteheart (6-4, 250) is officially in his second NFL season out of Wake Forest. Originally signed by Arizona as an undrafted free agent in 2023, Whiteheart appeared in two games as a rookie. He will wear No. 86.
