The Bengals added another downfield threat in the third round of April’s draft when they selected slot
receiver Jermaine Burton.

Burton played in 26 games at the University of
Alabama from 2022-23, after seeing action in 24 games at the University of
Georgia from ’20-21.

He led the Crimson Tide last season in receiving yards
(798) and receiving TDs (eight), while his 20.5 yards per reception led the
Southeastern Conference and ranked sixth nationally.

His big-play ability was on display in the preseason opener against the Buccaneers, as he led the Bengals
with 82 yards on three catches, including a 37-yard TD and a 38-yard reception
late in the fourth quarter.

Burton has spent each offseason since 2020 being
trained by former Bengals WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh in Southern California.
