U.S. Team Points Standings

Captain Stacy Lewis; Assistant Captains Morgan Pressel, Angela Stanford, Paula Creamer, Brittany Lincicome

 

There were no changes to the top seven in the U.S. Team points standings following last week’s Portland Classic. Angel Yin tied for second in Portland and moved to 11th in the team points standings, up from 12th.

 

As of today, the two Rolex Rankings qualifiers for the U.S. Team are Rose Zhang (No. 9) and Alison Lee (No. 24). The next two players are Angel Yin (No. 32) and Lexi Thompson (No. 39).

 

The LPGA Tour is off until after the Summer Olympics. U.S. Team points are not allotted at the Olympics, but Rolex Women’s World Rankings points will be allocated. Nelly Korda, Lilia Vu and Rose Zhang are competing in Paris.

The U.S. Team will comprise the top seven players in the U.S. Solheim Cup points standings, the top two players in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings not already eligible, and three captain’s picks. The team will be finalized on Aug. 25, 2024, following the AIG Women’s Open.

 

European Team Points Standings

Captain Suzann Pettersen; Vice Captains Laura Davies, Caroline Martens, Anna Nordqvist, Mel Reid

 

As of today, the six Rolex Rankings qualifiers for the European Team are Celine Boutier (No. 7), Maja Stark (No. 23), Leona Maguire (No. 30), Carlota Ciganda (No. 33), Madelene Sagstrom (No. 34) and Georgia Hall (No. 41). The next two players are Esther Henseleit (No. 54) and Anna Nordqvist (No. 65).

 

The Ladies European Tour is off until after the Summer Olympics. European Team Team points are not allotted at the Olympics, but Rolex Women’s World Rankings points will be allocated. Notable Europeans competing in Paris include Charley Hull, Linn Grant, Celine Boutier, Maja Stark, Leona Maguire, Carlota Ciganda, Madelene Sagstrom, Georgia Hall, Esther Henseleit and Alexandra Forsterling.
