STARGAZING: Ramos, who was born in Humacao, PR
but raised in Maunabo, PR, is the first Giants homegrown
outfielder to be selected to an All-Star Game since OF Chili
Davis in 1986.
Since being called up on May 8, the 24-year-old leads the
National League in RBI (46) and ranks among the top in
home runs (14, 4th), batting average (.303, 4th), SLG%
(.532, 6th), and OPS (.903, 6th).
He has started 58 of SF’s 59 games since being recalled and
has started in 57 consecutive games entering play today.
