LOGAN GILBERT: ALL-STARLogan Gilbert was named an American League All-Star on Sunday,
marking Gilbert’s first career All-Star selection…in 19 starts this season, Gilbert is 6-5 with a 2.94 ERA

(41 ER, 125.1 IP) with 25 walks and 115 strikeouts…among qualified AL pitchers, Gilbert ranks T-1st in

WHIP (0.90), 1st in innings pitched (125.1), T-1st in quality starts (15), 3rd in hits-per-9 innings (6.3), 4th in

opponent batting average (.196), 8th in ERA (2.91), 8th in walks-per-9 innings (1.8) and 9th in strikeouts

(115)…Gilbert is the only pitcher in the Majors with 3 outings of 8.0+ scoreless innings (5/4 at HOU, 6/16

vs. TEX, 6/22 at MIA) this season, the first Seattle pitcher with 3+ such outings in a season since Mariners

Hall of Famer Félix Hernández had 4 in 2015.
