PGA Tour Champions News: Kaulig Companies Championship, Akron, Ohio

PGA TOUR Champions returns to Firestone Country Club this week for the fourth major of the 2024 season at the Kaulig Companies Championship.

Steve Stricker (2021, 2023) and Jerry Kelly (2020, 2022) have split the last four editions of this event. Each of the top 5 in the Charles Schwab Cup standings will tee it up this week at Firestone: No. 1 Stephen Ames, No. 2 Steven Alker, No. 3 Ernie Els, No. 4 Stricker and No. 5 Richard Green. Els is one of five World Golf Hall of Fame members in the field, along with Colin Montgomerie and past winners at Firestone Retief Goosen, José María Olazábal and Vijay Singh.
