OAKLAND, Calif. — The Oakland A’s have acquired infielder Jordan Groshans from the New York Yankees in exchange for infielder J.D. Davis and cash considerations, the club announced today.

Groshans, 24, is batting .232 with one home run and 15 RBI in 50 games with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and Double-A Somerset this season, after being claimed off waivers by the Yankees on Feb. 13.
