Angela Tomasa Bofill (May 2, 1954 – June 13, 2024) was an American singer-songwriter of CubanPuerto Rican origins. A New York native, Bofill began her professional career in the mid-1970s. Bofill is most known for singles such as “This Time I’ll Be Sweeter“, “Angel of the Night”, and “I Try”. Bofill’s career spanned over four decades.

Bofill was married to country music artist Rick Vincent from 1984 until 1994 and together they have a daughter, Shauna.

Bofill died on June 13, 2024, at the age of 70 at her daughter’s home in Vallejo, California, as announced by Engel in a post on her Facebook page.
