Celebrations to include Ludacris’ ceremonial first pitch, bobblehead gate giveaway, ‘Luda’s at The Battery Atlanta’ food truck, and more
ATLANTA (June 11, 2024) – On Wednesday, September 4, the Atlanta Braves will celebrate multi-platinum, GRAMMY Award-winning rapper, actor, and philanthropist Ludacris when the team takes on the Colorado Rockies at Truist Park. Previously, Ludacris performed at the World Series celebration at Truist Park in 2021 and was featured in the launch video of the Braves’ City Connect uniforms in 2023.
On September 4, The Battery Atlanta will be a tribute to all things Luda with entertainment from Ludacris’ Official DJ, DJ Infamous, photo stations with artwork from Ludacris’ albums, and Ludacris music playing throughout The Battery. A ‘Luda’s at The Battery Atlanta’ food truck will serve Southern soul food inspired by the menu of Ludacris’ Chicken and Beer restaurant.
The celebration will continue inside Truist Park. The first 15,000 fans through the gates to watch the Braves play the Colorado Rockies that evening will receive an exclusive Ludacris bobblehead. Ludacris will throw out the Ceremonial First Pitch before the game.
Ludacris Night is part of the Braves’ efforts to pay homage to local Atlanta musical legends, showcase the city’s historic impact on culture and the music industry, and spotlight up-and-coming artists.
